Whilst the OP might not have been the most verbose ofposts, nor one leading to much debate, I don't think the number of albums or years means it doesn't "suck crap". I don't care for The Beatles at all, but Paul McCartney's post-Beatles recordings are some of the most wretched songs I've ever had the misfortune to hear.

Lennon made two excellent albums (Plastic Ono Band and Imagine) and then became wildly uneven. Think his personal travails derailed his development and judgement...Don't care for any Macca...Couple of George songs here and there are nice, I guess and Ringo, well, no thanks. With the exception of "Photograph", he comes off as almost a novelty act.

As with all music, its subjective. I personally love Lennon's Mind Games, Imagine, Jealous Guy, and Watching the Wheels.
I like Maybe I'm Amazed,and Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five from McCartney.
I like When We was Fab from Harrison, and Photograph from Ringo.
I do prefer their Beatle work over their solo stuff. I think they (Lennon and McCartney mostly) benefitted from their friendly competition. Without that they ended up writing some songs that they probably never would have when they were Beatles.

I agree overall, but McCartney put out some pretty good post-Beatles stuff. If nothing else, you can't go wrong with some of the more popular hits like Band on the Run, Jet, and Live and Let Die. And of course, this: youtu.be/0d_Wv-gkHts |

When I first heard songs from either of Paul McCartney, George Harrison and John Lennon (back in the early 80s), I didn't even know about the Beatles.
Hey - I was 7 or 8 at the time. I didn't know any better.

I like at least one of the albums each released solo. John's the only one who never released one I'd call garbage, but I think Mccartney and Harrison reached the higher highs
