Overall, the poultry industry has probably made a gazillion dollars from the popularization of "Buffalo wings." As the video pointed out, chicken wings used to be discarded, or saved for making stock. Only in the last 25 years, or so, have I seen wings/"party wings," packaged in the supermarkets. They're popular, and inexpensive. And, there is NO way that you CAN'T cook them. The video mentions peanut butter and jelly wings. That's a bit farther than I am willing to go. I haven't done them often. But, when I have, I've used the Joy Of Cooking recipe for BBQ Sauce for fowl. It's a ketchup base, with; chopped onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire, red wine vinegar, mustard, paprika and brown sugar, simmered together for about 20 minutes. I bake the wings for about 35 minutes, at 350. (It's been a while, but I think that's the time and temp.)

It has lots of tang, with a touch of sweet. And, it's nice and gooey/messy. It pairs well with rice as a side dish, cooked in beef/chicken broth rather than water.
