I was intrigued to the ceremony take place in the outdoor for the 1st time. I don't feel it made that much of a difference. The show itself was fine... until the BABY SHARK performance. That's when I said "Oh, fuck this!" In the past couple of ceremonies, there has been a Choice Throwback Show category. That sounds like a big deal, yet it's not awarded during the broadcast. Not even during the red carpet, where they do hand out some surfboard trophies. Throughout the night--well, afternoon, the Choice Music Web Star category was still open. This is isn't always done with the most important category, but rather one they want to emphazise somehow. When they listed the nominees, the camera cut to them sitting in the audience just like the Emmys, Golden Globes, etc. They announced Annie LeBlanc as the winner, she stood up to make thanking gestures... and then they cut to the next award. So after all that build up, she doesn't even get a speech?!
