Yeash. What about
Jabba's Dancing Girls
There's lots of potential.
Episode 1: Lolu thinks she has found true love with a Jawa
Episode 2: Jabba goes on a diet and the dancing girls pretend to notice.
Episode 3: Oola drops a bracelet in the rancor pit and asks Bib Fortuna to fetch it.

A show about Obi wan in the desert for 20 years sounds quite boring to me, there'd need to be something more to the show to make me intrigued enough to watch.

We wanted a movie so naturally they give us a streaming series. Hard fucking pass. Not even a Ewan Obi-Wan show could get me to pay for Disney+. The consequences of boycotting movies Bec you think doing so will force a studio to make a movie you want. All the boycotters accomplished was scaring Lucasfilm off from doin spinoff films. It's called shooting yourself in the foot.

The consequences of boycotting movies Bec you think doing so will force a studio to make a movie you want. All the boycotters accomplished was scaring Lucasfilm off from doin spinoff films. It's called shooting yourself in the foot. They shot themselves in the foot with bad writing, an incoherent/non-cohesive vision of the trilogy, constant production changes and problems, and the (at least partially) debased characterizations of some major characters. The latter being to accommodate the Disney warrior princess mantra of Rey into the SW mythos. You don't see the MCU doing these things. And you don't see them having these problems. Now they are incorrectly blaming the concept of anthology movies (and attacking the disapproving fanbase). And now they are converting their anthology projects into television series to try and protect themselves from bigger financial losses. If they continue to make a product that doesn't have integral characters, decent writing, and honor the mythos then they will continue to lose their audience. Even if it's just streaming television series.

And that will be the biggest writing challenge with this series. How to make an exile on Tattoine seem interesting. Sure, you could have him go off planet sometimes to more interesting locales. But if they do that too much then it looks like he is forsaking his reason for being on Tattoine: to watch over Luke Skywalker and keep a low profile.

I wouldn't mind seeing a major female character in this series. Maybe a female bounty hunter or a female smuggler. But this will all come down to the writing. If it's somewhat like a live action version of SW Rebels it might work. If it's more like a live action version of SW Resistance it will probably flop.

Yes but he's not living out his time in the desert for nothing is he? He's sitting watching guard over the last hope in the galaxy (because there certainly aren't any other potential Jedi), waiting for him to come of age, so he can take the fight to the Empire. He certainly won't be going off on any frivolous adventures which may jeopardize that.

As much as i don't like about 98% of the prequels, I am interested in this. He was solid playing someone else's character. I would give this a chance.

Had a thought: they should get Liam Neeson to do some voice work on this show, because during this period he's supposed to be teaching Obi wan how to combine with the force.
