HARRINGTON PARK, NJ – A Bergen County woman was creeped out over the weekend after a Pennywise doll – the murderous clown from Stephen King's "It" – mysteriously landed in her backyard.
On Saturday afternoon, Renee Jensen was relaxing outside with her boyfriend when she spotted the doll, whose mouth was lined with fake blood and had black, cryptic lettering on its forehead.
The 42-year-old mother told NJ.com she wasn't sure how the evil effigy wound up in her yard since her one adjoining neighbor wasn't home on Saturday.
She shared her story to a Bergen County Facebook group, where people urged her to contact police in case it was something more than a prank. Responding officers were also spooked and recommended Jensen get rid of the Pennywise plush.
After the cops left, Jensen said she tried to set the doll on fire, but it wouldn't burn. After she covered it in olive oil and tossed the clown into burning newspaper, it ignited.

I can only imagine it must have been a shocking and terrifying experience, getting a free plush toy tossed over her fence. Hope she recovers.

Who cares! A stupid prank and perhaps over something she said to someone and the article doesn't even say much about the hex aspect. Her bf may have even been in on the act. All for attention and why even report it. Non news! It's as inappropriate as a man wearing a Starfleet mini-dress.
