What do you mean "Halloween
TOMORROW?" Halloween is not for another 2 months!!!!
Why are you taking his... For a lack for a better word, here: "
TYPO"... so literally?
Seriously, I want to understand why people like you, do exactly that?
While I found his choice of word, odd... I have no reason whatsoever to believe, that he actually believes that we are living in October...
So why do you think he does?Clearly, there is no way that posters here, can supply enough responses in a 24 hour period, to meet his desire for numerous responses... It should be clear to most people, that he is asking for them, now, so there will be plenty to read by Halloween of this year...
When he said "
apropos for Halloween tomorrow"... I interpreted that to mean, that he wanted good stories that would actually scare people living in the year 2019
and beyond... and not some old tired story that could only scare people living in the year 1919...
Maybe that was an incorrect interpretation, on my part, but, I'd bet it is probably fairly close.
So, Why didn't you interpret his request to be something similar to be like what I read?
I'm not trying to be mean or nasty or to start a fight with you... But I have encountered so many similar communication problems with other posters on these boards... And it seems that the OP and I are not the only TWO posters here, that other people frequently mis-understand... In Fact, it seems to becoming more of a world-wide problem, every day... and I just can't understand why this is happening, because, after all, aren't we all speaking the same language?
Well, Maybe you can explain it to me... Because this communication "problem" needs to be understood and resolved, or else I fear our civilization is doomed. Seriously!
Do you ever read anything other than what people type on Twitter & Facebook, and in Chat Rooms & Message Boards?
If not... I'll say that again...
If not, then perhaps you should put your stupid electronic brick down, and read a few actual paper books.
