This video makes it seem like the first time in over a thousand years, but I think it's probably done every Passover, just without the publicity. I don't hear any Muslims protesting this. Do you? I did not watch that video, however I want you to try and understand something. A video that you find on YouTube is not evidence of anything. There are SO many reasons why this is not so. I don't even mean the obvious things like authenticity butt more so the reasons why they are posted, the propaganda value and NOST importantly the propensity to use isolated videos as pointing to the 'truth' of something. You are naïve indeed to fall for this shit in discriminatorily. What are you trying to say, that the sacrifice of that lamb didn't happen? It was faked?

Someone considered it significant enough to post it on YouTube, and I considered it significant enough to post here. Third Temple in ten years or less, folks.

You seem to think that anything anyone posts on YouTube has credibility when most of it does not. Some does...you just need the intelligence to understand which … and see what each video actually is and its aims and credibility. It is actually just like in science, there is' peer review' except the difference is that the 'peers' are actually experts or working in the same field of study NOT the WWW of ignorance and delusion.

It speaks for itself, goz. People can decide on their own if its significant or not. This project has gone way beyond the concept stage. The only one who can stop it is God, and God is going to let it happen, for reasons that I understand. Now here's the part where you come back and call me stupid and a bunch of other not-nice names. I always get a kick out of that. It's so comical.

Case in point: Jesus did not facilitate the Jews' return to their homeland (something which still has yet to happen), the Third Temple is as yet unbuilt, nor was there ever a Messianic age of peace. So clearly, the Messiah hasn't shown himself. “Jesus did not facilitate the Jews' return to their homeland (something which still has yet to happen)” Will be fulfilled at the second coming. “the Third Temple is as yet unbuilt” Will be fulfilled at the second coming. “nor was there ever a Messianic age of peace” Will be fulfilled at the second coming. Well, he ain't the Messiah until all those things have happened. And Jesus did promise they would happen in the lifetime of some of the people he was talking to. So I'd say that ship has sailed. How do you figure Jesus fulfilled it?

How do you figure Jesus fulfilled it? Do not turn the question back on me. I ask again if Jesus did not fulfil Daniel 9, then who did? And why do you think the Jews are still awaiting a Messiah who had to have appeared BEFORE the destruction of the second temple which took place in 70 AD, over 35 years AFTER Jesus.

Who is or isn't the Messiah besides Jesus is besides the point. We are talking about Jesus. Just because you find unfulfilled Messianic prophecies in the Torah, it still isn't a feather in your cap - just the opposite. Finding unfulfilled prophecies are easy. Unfulfilled prophecies are not a problem for me, since I'm not the one saying prophesies have been fulfilled - you are. So here you have found yet another prophecy not fulfilled by Jesus - what sort of points did you expect to score from that?

So here you have found yet another prophecy not fulfilled by Jesus - what sort of points did you expect to score from that? The point is this. You started in this thread by claiming that Jesus being the messiah isn’t a fact because the Jews do not believe in Him. Yet the prophet Daniel clearly foretells of the Messiah appearing before the destruction of second temple which took place in 70 AD. That means if the Jews remain true to their scriptures then anybody claiming to be the messiah since the second temple destruction has to be by default a false messiah. In other words the Jews a) must have missed him the first time or b) must acknowledge that their scriptures contain errors. C) admit they’re basically now waiting in vain, thus making Judaism pretty much void. I’ve found another prophecy not fulfilled by Jesus???! Jesus fulfilled all six objectives within Daniel 9. If he didn’t fulfil it nobody has or can.

You started in this thread by claiming that Jesus being the messiah isn’t a fact because the Jews do not believe in Him. No, that is not the reason why that's not a fact. However, it certainly is telling evidence. Still doesn't make Jesus the Messiah, as he demonstrably did not fulfil that prophecy either. Did Jesus fulfil that prophecy, yes or no? Which objectives did Jesus fulfil? "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy." There is no evidence of any of those having been fulfilled. You can make a Christian-specific case for the reconciliation for iniquity, but as for the rest? Where's "everlasting righteousness"? Where's the "end of sin"? Also, Daniel 9 doesn't talk about the "Messiah" - that is a translation peculiar to Christianity. The text says "the anointed". The word used is "Moshiach", which is tranlsated even in the Christian Bible as "the anointed" every single time - except in Daniel 9, 25-26, which is rather telling.

If he didn’t fulfil it nobody has or can. Jesus won't be fulfilling anything anytime soon. He has been dead for eons. You'd think after all this time he would have had his second coming by now and the rapture would have already happened. It all boils down to the simple realization that, as 'prophets' go, JC must hold one of the worst track records for prophesying of all time. Of course, there's good reason that Xtians are enamored of the saying "a thousand years is as a day to the Lord". By that reckoning, Jesus just bit it a couple of days ago and so we shouldn't be concerned that he hasn't turned back up just yet. For the record, I do love Gentiles attempting to explain to the Jews just what their holy texts 'really' mean. Especially those eminently qualified scholars such as Cody.
