The point is this. You started in this thread by claiming that Jesus being the messiah isn’t a fact because the Jews do not believe in Him.
No, that is not the reason why that's not a fact. However, it certainly is telling evidence.
Still doesn't make Jesus the Messiah, as he demonstrably did not fulfil that prophecy
either.
Did Jesus fulfil that prophecy, yes or no?
Which objectives did Jesus fulfil?
"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."
There is no evidence of any of those having been fulfilled. You can make a
Christian-specific case for the reconciliation for iniquity, but as for the rest? Where's "everlasting righteousness"? Where's the "end of sin"?
Also, Daniel 9 doesn't talk about the "Messiah" - that is a translation peculiar to Christianity. The text says "the anointed". The word used is "Moshiach", which is tranlsated even in the Christian Bible as "the anointed" every single time -
except in Daniel 9, 25-26, which is rather telling.
