I like when drummers play train beats. I sat with a drummer once who showed me how in honky tonk you can build upon a boogie woogie fill or a jazz shufflebeat in countless ways to evoke the different stages of a train's journey, just by switching accents, lopping off notes, clipping tones etc.
Danish composer Hans Christian Lumbye is a major historical figure in train music.
Do you like any songs that evoke the world of railways?

In punk, they used to call drummer D.J. Bonebrake the conductor for his endless variations on train beats and railroad rhythms, sometimes within the same song.

Johnny Cash used a clickety-clack rhythm in many songs, especially here.

Reminds me of the extraordinary opening to Jean Renoir's 'The Human Beast'.
