*No tacky Iron Spider suits.
*Spidey can fight Venom and Morbius.
*Ignore the stupid plot legacy in which Spidey’s identity is publicly known.
*Ignore the snap! and incorrect timeline.
*Save money by not paying the guy who mismanaged Spidey.
Ah, the future feels better already.

It’s like you people WANT Disney to fail, isn’t it?

Ah, the future feels better already. Actually no, quite the opposite feeling. If they keep Tom Holland as Spider-Man but completely ignore the events of the other movies he has been in and pretend that the snap didn't happen, ignore his iron spider suit, and do not touch base on Mysterio revealing to NYC his identity it will confuse a *beep* ton of people and they'll feel ripped off big time. There is also no guarantee he will fight either Morbius or Venom if their next movies fail, and Tom Rothman has a major history of mismanaging genre entertainment going back decades.

So assuming that Disney and Sony don't make up how does this work? The next Spider-man movie is still going to have Tom Holland in it anyway right? So would they be able to continue the story from where FFH left off....but it just wouldn't be MCU canon? It wouldn't officially be canon but could be unofficially canon?

Ah, the future feels better already. Cant say Im a big fan of the Iron Spider either. Spider-man has his own identity and a massive one at that

Agree for the most part (especially ditching the Iron Spider suit and making Spidey the Dick Grayson to Tony's Bruce Wayne), but what was wrong with Peter's identity being discovered? New and potentially interesting plot thread, and it happened in the comics.

Ah, the future feels better already. I would have to disagree. Except for the part about Spidey getting to fight Tom Hardy’s Venom. But considering this version of Venom is more of an antihero I’d prefer they only fight for part of the movie then team up against Carnage. And honestly it would be really stupid imo to ignore the events of the MCU. His public persona should stay. I see no problem with that and it’s a fun storyline. I mean they don’t have to mention anything having to do with the MCU but I think it’s fine for us to watch a completely separate story from Sony that we can all just feel like is in the MCU but remains it’s own thing. It’d be too confusing for general audiences to watch some new Tom Holland Spider-Man movie that’s basically a reboot and ignores everything that came before it.
