It's sad going into a store and barely seeing any CD isles.

I buy both. I will willingly pay for an album twice to own it on vinyl record and cd

It's sad going into a store and barely seeing any CD isles. I hate it. The Walmart and Targets here have a cd section but they're way smaller than they used to be I wouldn't be as bothered with digital if more digital stores sold uncompressed FLAC audio, since i usually rip my cds to FLAC anyways but... The only digital store that does that is Tidal and they charge a hell of a lot more for FLAC audio and they make you buy the entire album On Tidal, I have to pay 18 dollars for the whole 11 track EP in FLAC when I just want one song off of it.

It's sad going into a store and barely seeing any CD isles. It doesn't bother me that much, seeing that Amazon.com has a better selection than any physical store ever could. Unless you need the CD immediately, physical stores can't compete, which is why they've largely ceded the business to Amazon (and their marketplace sellers).

I still like buying CDs, mostly at goodwills though me too, especially multi disk box sets that retailed for $100 when new

I only buy cds on Amazon and Ebay. So much easier to find what you are looking for that way.
