"Sleeping Beauty", with Eleanor Audley's instantly recognizable, smooth as velvet voice as the over the top horrifying, one and only MALEFICENT!

I don't get scared by films anymore, however they can creep me out while watching. At the time I first saw it in the 90's, I thought The Changeling was the scariest film I had ever seen, but on a recent viewing, it didn't make the same impact. This would be my choice too.

Black Christmas the original. It really keeps the tension and made me think that someone else could have been in the house with me when I was alone watching it.

When A Stranger calls.
I saw this when I was young while being babysat by the babysitter. She ran out the house & never came back. Left all of us alone for the rest of night...

Creepshow 1982 - nothing will ever undo Ted Danson being buried alive (to his neck in sand at low tide) by Leslie Neilson.
The Blair Witch Project - the witch's spell of trapping them in lost hiking circle didn't hit me until years later. The stick figures remain great primal & unsettling set piece. If you walked into a horror tale of disbelief, only to encounter those in reality...
