No Black Keys album?!
The Avalanches at No. 34 was a surprise, also.

Your evaluation is right on the money. I personally don't own a single one of those albums. And regarding #25, I remember over on the "Music General" board of that other site that: - Someone posted that The Guardian's best album of 2016 was "Lemonade" by Beyonce.
- In a thread started by DrKrippen (and archived here: filmboards.com/board/p/19036/) "Your favorite albums released in 2016?", not one MG user mentioned Beyonce's album.

I would switch Taylor Swift's 1989 with SPEAK NOW, and Lady Gaga's THE FAME with BORN THIS WAY.

To me, the live album from Alison Krauss and Union Station should've been on that list somewhere.
God bless you and AKUS always!!!

Man that list is horrendous. I've heard about two thirds and most of them don't belong anywhere near a greatest list.

I see a very few favorites of mines on the list, but I don't exactly agree with the rankings and choices on that list.

I think "Piece by Piece" by Katie Melua should have been among the 100 best albums of the 21st century
I also think that "This is Sound" by Cellar Darling should have been on the list.
