Four or five years ago, for a procedure to remove kidney stones.
I don't remember when was the last time I spent the night at a hospital. It was probably as a child, for a tonsillectomy.

For myself - 2 months ago. Had an allergic reaction to something at work. First time I had ever had to use an EpiPen, had to call 911 and rode in an ambulance. I had had 911 called for me a couple of times before, but that was the first time I had to call myself.
For someone else - this past Tuesday. Father showed all the symptoms of a stroke, so I had to call 911. Luckily, the paramedics were able to treat my father before the conditions worsened.
Last time I physically stayed in a hospital was in 1990. Just before the last week of school (grade 9 - where it was pretty much a hell year for me), I was in hospital - recovering from an appendectomy.

Yes, I am, thanks. Even though it's a serious surgery, nowadays they have it down. it's almost routine. It still blows my mind that they stopped my heart for a couple of hours and then restarted it.
Pleased you are fine now. Although routine, it is still major, but it is amazing what some doctors can do. Thanks, TC. I have a lot of confidence in my doctors.

Now that I think about, this would been closer to thirty years ago. And in a sleepy Southern town hospital, so.... 30 years ago was right around the time I stopped going to bars every weekend to dance. My drinking pretty much came to a halt too [Raises eyebrow] What happened?

April of last year, having my baby delivered. I was induced, so we checked in in the evening, and my daughter was born the following evening.
