Has anybody here heard anything recently about a Sequel to the Charlize Theron Action Movie "ATOMIC BLONDE" ?
The Last News of it that I ever heard (which was well over a year ago) was that they were going to make it.
Since then (and well over a year later), I have not heard anything new about it.

Why would there be a part 2 when part 1 flopped? There have been Movies before that flopped and that still got a Sequel.

Why would there be a part 2 when part 1 flopped? Huh? It didn't exactly set the world on fire, but it made more than triple the budget back. It didn't flop.

Why would there be a part 2 when part 1 flopped? There have been Movies before that flopped and that still got a Sequel. True. But should they have? Isn't it's flop status clue enough?
I can only think of ONE movie that actually flopped, but required a sequel because it did so well on DVD- Austin Powers. And its sequel was not only good, but a huge hit.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie.
Plenty of films get sequels off a 3.33-1 ratio or less. Pacific Rim, Ghost Rider, Underworld Evolution, Fantastic Four...

Again, not great, but a reasonable way to spend a couple of hours.

It's too bad that they killed off both Jame McAvoy and Sofia Boutella in "ATOMIC BLONDE".
I definitely would have liked to have them both return with Charlize Theron as well for a Sequel.
