I didn't even know there was one. I liked the 90's one though.

Can't see the video at work, but is that Pryde Of The X-Men pilot? If so, yes I was a fan. I remember getting a copy of the VHS from Walgreens when I was a kid. Watched it over and over wishing that it had been made into a series. It was stylistically very similar to the 80's G.I. Joe animated series. Even that cartoon runs circles around most if not all of the Fox-Men films.

I didn't find out till years later it was the only episode of its make and kind. That was a bummer.

I liked it. The 90s version though was vastly superior.

When they eventually do make a MCU X-men movie then I hope it's like the old 90's cartoon. At least give them the costumes.

I never understood why it didn't take off, yet the 90s version was so popular just a few years later.

I never understood why it didn't take off, yet the 90s version was so popular just a few years later. According to Wikipedia, it’s because Marvel was having well known financial issues at the time, and New World Entertainment sold off the rights to the franchise as a result.
