I enjoyed both Furious 7 and Fate of the Furious, but they were overly silly at times.
Lin seemed to ground the films better while still allowing for big over the type stunts.
I really enjoyed Fate because of Charlize Theron, she is always good. And I can only imagine her being directed by Lin. PLEASE make this happen!

I think the DCEU needs him even more. Imagine a Justice League movie in his hands. I would watch that! DC need to stop taking themselves and their comic characters so seriously. Try to have a bit of fun with them, even if it's a bit illogical and over the top. These days those kinds of movies are the ones that are bringing in the big bucks. |

Lin's Star Trek Beyond along with Fast Five were some of the best movies of their respective years.

Agreed, I tried re-watching BvS earlier in the week and damn! Takes itself way to seriously. |

They just need to add new blood now keep statham and Johnson and go solo for a gritty revenge type deal where they have to save everyone
