Enjoy. www.freemasonrywatch.org/racism.htmlAnd I get accused of racism because I called Obama a lawn jockey for the white-controlled New World Order? Throughout my life I've had numerous black friends. Once I even had a black girlfriend. I also supported a black man for the highest office in the land once, and then I did it again sixteen years later. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that I called Obama a lawn jockey. Now I'm branded with RACIST forever. I was bitching about the Freemasons to my brother recently, and one thing led to another, and he told me that there is no way that a black man is going to get into a white Freemason lodge. As far as I know my brother is not a mason, but he's more a "pillar of the community" than I am so it is understandable that he would have more contact with them than me. If you're a black man, you can join the black version of the Freemasons, but you will never get into the white Freemasons, and the white Freemasons will never regard the black Freemasons as authentic masons. Looks as if Hell will freeze over before white Freemasons accept "coloreds" into their ranks, and yet I am branded a racist....because I called Obama a lawn jockey....for the white-controlled New World Order. Go figure that one out.

It must have damn near killed them to have a black man who is also a conservative on the Supreme Court, but they just had to suffer it and move on.

I doubt either of you knows what an Uncle Tom is, or acknowledges the existence of any Uncle Toms at all, much less have the ability to determine who is/isn't one. It might behoove you to defer to people who might actually know something about racism and black culture to make that determination.

Because, even IF I were even to even assume that you are capable of being "enlightened" in the first place, I have much more important things to do than to waste the incalculable hours of instruction required to "educate" you on matters that go far beyond your comprehension. You in particular have not even demonstrated that you have a solid grasp of reality at all (chemtrails anyone?), much less a social reality that is about as far removed from you as possible. It would be like trying to explain quantum mechanics to a golden retriever!

He says that we need to learn something, and when asked to teach us he comes back with the old you're-too-stupid-to-understand bit. Pathetic.

tpfkar Observe the inveterate dishonesty of ErJen, as he slovenly pretends that his "Why don't you enlighten us? " was anything more than one of his throwaway lines. Yes, but I don't see a need to explain to to swine.

Captain Bryce and cupcakes have nothing to say.
Does ANYONE want to step up to the plate and talk about racism and black culture? I'm willing to listen. I'm very much interested as to why Freemasonry get as pass on the racism thing, and no one else does.

Apart from the link you posted which is not a valid source of information where else do you get the information that free masons ARE racism? (not were as in the past but now in this day and age that they actively preach and practice racism).

Perhaps in your country people are more open-minded, but in my country masonry is still segregated. No ethnic diversity at all. And just what is a valid source? NASA? FEMA? CNN, perhaps?

Freemasonry is certainly an historically "white only" organization, although things have changed a great deal since hundreds of years ago. There are now black-oriented lodges as well as more white-centric lodges that allow blacks (Scotland in particular). In the US, masonry mostly persists in the south, it's mostly old southern business men clinging to 1950s values (the sort of place where you hear black folks referred to as "lawn jockeys", actually) - so, yeah, there's a lot of racism there, although Erjen's take on the organization seems to be based on cartoons. (Or Youtube videos, same thing - simple takes for simple viewpoints.) Best part of this thread is "I have black friends!".

Free masons I know hail mostly from france and haiti so really while I'm sure there are members who are racists, the french and haitian organisations (and we have a lot of lodges of free masonery in haiti) are in themselves racist. Neither is their current documentation which I have had my hands on (not all of it). Don't really know about the states masons but that site was ridiculous as a reference it's like going to a sited called bibleburning for truth on the bible or christianbible for historical facts.

Sort of sad, really. Its a lot of good ol' boys getting together to play cards at the Alahambra Temple (or whatever the local is called) and compare their fishing boat trailers. It's not what it used to be in any sense of the word. As much as the chapters (especially the southern) have a history of tie-ins with racists orgs like the KKK, at least in the past they used to benefit their communities through charity and the like. Now even that is limited to small-time fund raisers. (Little old men standing at traffic lights selling pecan logs.)
Even in my dad's active time in the masons, somewhere between 65 and 85, it was a diminished, glorified "elk lodge" type thing.
