Yep, Stuart Gordon and his sci-fi/horror cult film From Beyond (1986), it is. Always been a big favorite of mine, and one I actually put above his former classic splatter release, Re-Animator (1985), as my favorite of his work.

Is that Radha Mitchell? Is it from Rogue?

Was thinking that image looked rather familiar, but I guess I was still a long way off. As my thought were more directed towards one of the Piranha (remakes) but realized after masterofallgoons post, that I did saw Rogue (think my scandinavian DVD had it under a different/alternative title) last fall, and one that I quite enjoyed. Probably one of the better killer crocodile titles that I have seen for a long while.

Rogue was definitely one of the better movies of its kind in recent memory. There's another killer croc in Aussie land movie called Black Water, which isn't as good, but is also worth a watch. There was a too-late sequel that came out recently, but I haven't seen it.

Is that Radha Mitchell? Is it from Rogue? Yes, on both accounts.

That is quite a stunning image/picture you picked out, as it looks almost like an gothic painting. Well, I just gotta go with what comes first to my mind, when I look at it, and try my luck with Tim Burton and his Sleepy Hollow (1999).

Well, I just gotta go with what comes first to my mind, when I look at it, and try my luck with Tim Burton and his Sleepy Hollow (1999). That is quite right. There are so many stunning images from that movie. Nearly every frame is an image I'd love to blow up hang on the wall, but I tried to pick one that didn't fully give it away, but was also not purposefully misleading. You got it right off the bat, but this was my next image choice if there were a couple of incorrect guesses... though I thought it might have been too recognizable :

I had a re-visit to that film during last years Halloween eve, and I am not sure why I never did so before, but fitted right in perfectly and a fine way to close of the October Challenge with.
Yeah, it is surely a stunning film visually. Maybe among the most beautiful looking work of Burton. But I kind of felt some of the story/characters were, well, not always on the same page as the visual stuff.
Still, I rated it with a 7,5/10 or was it 8?

Alright, new challenge. This time, I decided to try and go for one, I believe is among the better, if not the best of the big budget attempts, of having a revival of the classic horror films from the 1930s and 40s, but which happened many decades later on.

Well, the first image was probably not the most "easy" one, so I decided to upload another clue:

Alright, one last clue, before I call it the day and go to bed: Wolf 1994

Yes, Wolf it is. Always thought it were the best of the bunch, when it came to handing out big budget 90s monster-horror films (Dracula, Frankenstein and The Wolfman) revival/remakes. Of course, it also helped out, having a stunning Michelle Pfeiffer in there as well:

I've heard that some people find the plot confusing, but I've never had that issue, and I think outside of Ricci, who I usually like, and that kid, who's quite weak, the cast is just tremendous. It's even got your man Christopher Lee in a great cameo, albeit without those cool sunglasses. But I love the the story here. I think the characters are well defined and interesting, and as much as I absolutely adore the original story, I think the approach of changing it almost completely while still acknowledging it in appropriate parts is quite perfect. You won't really find a bigger fan of that movie than me.

Well, I guess one cannot go wrong with the fact that the film is a zombie themed adventure, or at least from the look of it. But which one, that is not gonna be so easy. From the look of it, I would have to guess a more modern release, probably done during the mid 00s, so I just try out, Land of the Dead (2005)?

I dont recall many anthologies with zombie segments actually. Is this picture from the same segment?
