Best US sports area of the decade so far?
Boston - Patriots (2 Super Bowl wins from 3 appearances; 2011, 2014, 2016), Red Sox (1 World Series win; 2013), Bruins (1 Stanley Cup from 2 Finals; 2011, 2013), Celtics (1 NBA Finals appearance, 2010).
Chicago - Blackhawks (3 Stanley Cups; 2010, 2013, 2015), Cubs (1 World Series win; 2016).
Bay Area - Giants (3 World Series wins; 2010, 2012, 2014), Warriors (1 NBA Finals win from 2 appearances; 2015, 2016), 49ers (1 Super Bowl appearance; 2012), Sharks (1 Stanley Cup Final appearance, 2016).

If you're talking about best sports area of the 2010s, gotta go with the Bay Area. Not only has the Bay Area had plenty of championship teams and been in contention for plenty of championships, but also in the 2010s, the Bay Area hosted several World Series games, several NBA Finals games, a few Stanley Cup Finals games, and a Super Bowl.
How many other areas or regions of the country have hosted a final round game in each of the 4 major pro team sports within the same decade, not just in the 2010s but in any decade. This is probably the first time that's ever happened.

1. I know, I literally listed them in the OP. 2. Boston? I mean I know they technically didn't host a Super Bowl, but why should that be a factor? Cities aren't awarded Super Bowl host privileges for football reasons. And their team went to 3 Super Bowls this decade, winning two of them.
