Christ, that makes me feel old, just a decade behind him.

It's gonna be a hell of a day when he goes. Hush that talk, boy, he ain't goin' nowhere!
When the kid starts singing, The Boss Man grins like Robert de Niro! Good fun, this.

He played my college in 1977. I had my last final of the semester (Russian history) and couldn't attend. But after completing the exam, and knowing I'd aced it, I lay across the hood of my car and listened to the concert from the parking lot.

I thought you were going to reference the song by the Arkells:
Oh...the boss is coming!
On the morning show on the radio yesterday morning, they said that Bruce was turning 70. Looks GREAT for 70!
The game that they played had host and his 2 co-hosts present a fact about Bruce. One fact was true, while the other 2 were just made up.
It was something like:
1. Bruce had a pre-determined time as to when the bus was leaving for the next town. If one wasn't on it, they left without you!
2. Bruce has a summer home in Tobermory, Ontario, Canada. One of his band members suggested he buy a house there because it's on the BRUCE Peninsula.
3. When he first started signing autographs, he would sing "el capitaine". Later, to save time, he would sign "The Boss". Hence, his nickname.
I think it was #3 that was correct. I'm a bad reader of people, and I knew #2 wasn't correct.
Happy Birthday to The Boss!

Christ, that makes me feel old, just a decade behind him. You wanna feel old, consider that Fred Durst (yes, the Limp Bizkit frontman) is 49.
