I'm not a fan, but The Knicks being this irrelevant for this long is bad for the NBA. So, here's my "recipe for relevance":
1. Fire Phil Jackson (he probably wants to go back to Jennie Buss & The Lakers)
2. Dump Carmelo (doesn't matter what you get in return, get rid of him)
3. Trade Porzingis (he's good, but not good enough to build around and by the time the Knicks will be - he will be gone anyway)
4. Lower ticket prices (I don't care that it's NYC, you're going to be terrible for years so you can get better...you may as well put people in the Garden while you're doing it)
5. Wait (i.e. stop mortgaging the future for aging, alleged "superstars")
