So-o-o-o-o......you're stuck on a desert island for the rest of your life, but get to have the entire music catalog of ONE group, or solo act (i.e., singer) to listen to during that time. Who(m) would you choose ?? SAVE FERRIS

Yes. They have enough albums to keep me busy.

I think I've probably got to go for David Bowie as within that large output there was a wide range of music.
A lot of Artists I really love either have wider range and lower output .....or vice versa (narrower range....bigg er catalogue.)
Semi sorta gone down the middle.

Every show of the Grateful Dead would keep me busy for awhile.

A long discography with many classic studio albums, and several live albums.

If I could include not only the band, but all their off-shoots too, it'd be my favourite band Throwing Muses. If not, I'd take Bob Dylan's discography.

REM or Yo la Tengo...Both have long, varied catalogs and hold up to repeat listens...

Aphex Twin
He's not my all-time favourite musician and he didn't make my all-time favourite album but he definitely made many that come close. His style is also very broad for the type of music he makes so I'll have plenty to choose from depending on my mood.

Probably everything Nick Cave ever recorded..a pretty hefty, varied collection to keep me occupied.
