uk.ign.com/articles/2019/09/30/marvels-disney-plus-shows-will-have-mcu-movie-budgets"Variety reports that Marvel Studios is putting movie-scale budgets behind each of the Disney+ projects, meaning something around the $100-150 million mark. With each of these seasons running between six and eight episodes, this would place episode budgets at between approximately $12m and $25m." This is good news and what I brought up to Power Rangers a short while ago, I usually never watch superhero TV shows except for the Netflix ones because they just seem too cheap. Having seen the trailer for The Manalorian I was kind of hoping that these MCU shows on Disney Plus would have the same level of production value and it sounds like they might do then.

that's why Netflix shows only go 3 seasons, can't afford to give everyone raises when budget is already 100m

that's why Netflix shows only go 3 seasons, can't afford to give everyone raises when budget is already 100m Well the article I linked says "For comparison, Variety reported in 2014 that the first slate of Marvel Netflix shows - the debut seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist - had a budget total of $200million, equating to $3.8 million per episode. That’s significantly lower than the money being set aside for the new Marvel shows; effectively one season of Disney+ Marvel costs as much as two or three of the Netflix shows." You can already see that The Mandalorian looks like it's made on a whole other level of production budget than those shows.

It was only $169.99 for 3 seasons. I expect the Marvel stuff alone to be worth it.
Ive been eyeballing the first 6 Star Wars for $80 on Vudu, but the Disney+ offer came up first. Sort of why bother?

Makes sense. The biggest shortcoming of the TV shows have been the budget, some were able to past that like with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Cloak & Dagger, The Runaways, and Luke Cage but the more fantastic like Iron Fist and Inhumans suffered majorly.

Yeah characters like Daredevil and Punisher are fairly ordinary it doesn't really require the big budgets. Someone like Falcon and Scarlet Witch though uses a lot of CGI for his abilities. If they do that Loki show then it could have some elaborate sets as apposed to some buildings in New York.

Inhumans was one of the worst shows I had ever seen.
The Runaways is pretty dope though.
Cloak & Dagger is the only Marvel show I haven't seen.
