Damn.
I LOVE Michelle Pfeiffer & as Catwoman particularly (Ladyhawke was better, though)
But nothing in BR matches the momen Thor arrives in Avengers.

Avengers, Returns is too much of a Burton jerk off session for me to put it above Avengers, but it is still fun, though Devitto still creeps me the fuck out as Penguin, I saw this as a 5 year old and I dunno when he bit the dude it freaked me the fuck out, keep in mind I had no issue with Arnie punching a hole through a guy in Terminator at that age or any part of Predator, Penguin though yeesh. Would it by any chance surprise you to learn that at one point in that movie they were seriously thinking of making those four freakishly large emperor penguins(seriously they were big enough they might as well signed a contract with the NFL or NBA) who at the end drag Cobblepot to his water grave 'The Elders'? Basically HP Lovecraftian beings whom Penguin and the circus gang worshiped and communicated somewhat telepathically. And speaking of Arnie, there's a picture of him in Christopher Walken's office.

So weird to think that they had an episode of TINY TOON ADVENTURES basically promoting this movie.

The two movies have nothing in common at all, Avengers is an ensemble blending several genres into one package and strives for a contemporary yet nostalgic feel to its tone and style, while Returns is pretty much a Tim Burton movie that happens to be a Batman movie.
