Batman Begins
While I understand that Superhero movies all trace their origins to Comic Books... I've never really cared for the Campyness & Largeness of those Comic books... "POW" & "ZOWIE". LOL!
Which is probably why "Superman: The Movie" (1978) & the live action "The Incredible Hulk" TV Show with Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno, are in my top favorites...
I like the realism of such media...
I always think about.... WHAT IF, SUCH CHARACTERS, WERE REAL?... &... HOW, WOULD OUR WORLD BE LIKE WITH THEM IN IT?
Weirdly, I also think about a quote from the Joker in "Batman" (1989)... "Where does he get those wonderful toys?"
Instant Batmobile shaped like a Bat... In Year ONE? LOL! Not likely!
Batman Begins, met my expectations in everything I wanted to see, in such a film!
A normal man, who trains to become a "Ninja", and then acquires existing Military & Science Tech, to then take on the role of "Batman"... and then interacts with a realistic world... One that we all could be living in.
While I can't say it was "Perfect", as I am not sure there can ever be such a film...
For me, it was close.
9/10
At the time the film came out... I got a friend of mine, who hated most comic book films, to watch the film, and even she enjoyed it... Probably for the reasons that I did.
The other two films in that trilogy follow closely behind!

The Tim Burton films are superior films IMO. The Dark Knight was good but I feel way over-rated. I'm not a comic fanboy though, so I'm not sure if that plays into the intense love for that film or not.

The only one I haven't seen is the 1966 Batman, though I just watched the Honest Trailers video, so I feel I have a good handle on how good it is.
Batman 89 remains my favorite.
