I Love that Christopher Nolan's 3 "BATMAN" are currently the Top 3 Leading Films in the Poll.

I Love that Christopher Nolan's 3 " BATMAN" are currently the Top 3 Leading Films in the Poll. ......and not one vote for George Clooney. I preferred that one over Kilmer's.....but as George once said "Let me just say that I'd actually thought I'd destroyed the franchise....."

LOL, I myself have absolutely nothing bad to say about George Clooney or his Batman.
I am sure that he did his best and gave it his all with what he was given in the script.

I thouGht it was a lot of fun, I liked the over the top campiness of Arnie and Uma, and George is always captain cool. Val Kilmer's Schumacher job was okish but my least liked out of all of them. Jim Carrey and Tommy didn't cut it despite the potential. But they're all still wwtchable.

Batman Begins - by a long shot. I've been a BatFan all my life. My wife 'didn't get it' and then we watched this. What a ride. To each their own, but I like the grizzled rough Christian Bale take on the character here. Best music in the Nolan trilogy as well.
Batman (1989) - I can't get enough of Jack Nicholson and he's slam dunking every scene in this. Also, coolest Batmobile ever. It must be hell to try and steer the thing, but hey, that's what those rear grappling hooks are for (?)
Batman Returns - This movie is beautiful. It's also weird and strangely perverse at times (Danny DeVito is perfectly cast). The score is a masterpiece. The Christmas aesthetic is awesome (a time of family/coming together while the protagonists are depressed and lonely for the bulk of the story). It's Tim Burton at his best IMHO. Batman was a little brutal in this, but the whole thing felt so surreal, it didn't bother me. The movie has gotten some flack for looking like only 30 people live in Gotham, but I found it sort of charming...like a stage production. Something like "Sweeney Todd" meets "The Nightman Cometh" (Always Sunny in Philadelphia). This one is a Christmas tradition for me and the family.
