Loved it. Now, I still like it but the writing might the weakest from any Nolan movie.

It's not easy making a good third movie after two popular and successful previous films, but under the circumstances, I think Nolan and co. did a good job overall.

Loved it the first time, but not as much as its predecessor. Now I just like it a lot. Still a bit better than Begins.

It was very good, but I felt disappointed it wasn't as good as The Dark Knight. The writing was probably the weak of the three films, and I saw the plot twist coming from a mile away. That said, Bane was a terrifying villain and the scene of him dislocating Batman's spin was intense. I wasn't heavily impressed by Anne Hathaway's Catwoman, but she did well with what she had to work with. The IMAX sequences especially the opening prologue were incredibly well-shot. Hans Zimmer's score was excellent and I left the theater with the "deshi basara" chant fresh in my mind.

"Man, that was a disappointment. I think I'd like my money back."

Thought it was pretty silly. Raised a lot of interesting questions but the payoff didn't pay off.

I did really enjoy it when it came out. I still like it but not as much as the first two Nolan Batman films. I think it gets too much hate like a lot of blockbusters that suffer hype backlash seemingly instantaneously now. But I have issues with it. Namely that once Batman loses his fight with Bane, the movie stalls for a solid 40+ minutes until the finale. I don't hate Bane's voice like others do but I dislike his nothing death scene. And while Marion Cotillard is ideal casting for Talia Al Ghul, she's given really nothing to do and way before the end, it's obvious she's a villain.

I saw TDKR opening night as part of a marathon screening of all three Nolan Batman movies. In that context, I really appreciated it and the callbacks to Batman Begins, which remains my favorite of the trilogy.
I got home late and learned the next day there had been a mass shooting in Aurora, Colorado the same night I saw the movie.

Anne Hathaway was a great Catwoman.
The film had too much going on, it was kind of a mess.
Not a bad film but not one I want to see again any time soon.

It's muddled and a bit of a mess but it's scope, spectacle and ambition make it worth it.
