Overall, yes. There's a little to much nudity for my tastes, but it's a riveting mystery/crime story/expose of suburbia/character study.

It's more accessible than Eraserhead but every bit as bizarre and disturbing. Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper) is one of the greatest villains in movie history. I think it's fair to say that the film revived Hopper's career.
Lynch's greatest film.

Yes definitely but I can completely understand how someone would be turned off by it. Hopper is incredible in it.

It's one of his 3 good films:
1. Mulholland Drive 2. Lost Highway 3. Blue Velvet

Eh. To be honest , I'm not a big Lynch fan. It has a few good scenes though I guess. As an overall film I'd give it a 5/10 or so

Usually I don't like that style of quasi-surreal filmaking, but here for me it worked, and I thought it was a very interesting movie, 7 or 8/10.

Yep, I like it. Though sadly, I do believe I may have watched it a few too many times over the years. It doesn't have near the impact on me as it used to.

Yes indeed. Dennis Hopper is one of the GREAT 1980s movie villains in it.
