Two things stand out. She's playing with the bass strings below the treble ones. Albert King, Otis Rush, and Dick Dale did the same. (I suspect that's because they learned to play on a right-handed person's guitar.) Second, she's able to sound like she's playing an autoharp.

She also picks the bass line with her index and middle fingers and the treble with her thumb. I think the autoharp sound comes from some unusual chord voicings and the fact that she also used many alternate tunings such as open G.
