Think about it.
JUSTICE LEAGUE opens on November 17th, and STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI opens on December 15th, that's only four weekends to make bank for JL. And Disney is known to open in foreign markets one week ahead out of piracy fears, something WB does not. Are you concerned?

Only if DC is trying to get the 2nd month money in. Their movies tend to die off before then. The threat might be Thor having word of mouth so good that people are still seeing it instead of seeing Justice League that 1st week. Especially if WoM is bad or mediocre for Justice League.

^Beat me to what I was gonna say, which is that it's a double-edged sword.
Will TLJ start cutting into JLA's box office? On the one hand, I'm sure they hope not. On the other, they should be so lucky as to still be raking in enough to be depleted substantially by the time Episode VIII comes out.

The movies are a month apart. I don't see how it's going to be a big problem.

You have a point, these movies make much of their dough with re-watches and if THOR: RAGNAROK is more liked they might re-watch that one after seeing JL

To be honest I don't know what the reception of TLJ will be like. SW franchise with TFA after some hindsight and especially after RO seems to indicate some divisiveness among fans. That said it will make bank.
