Looks like there is a board conflation, and all the music threads/ sub boards are now homogenized onto a single music board, for example.
Is this a permanent thing, or an under construction thing?
Hoping it's the latter, and not the former.

Hoping it's the latter, and not the former. The Admin has gone on record that this is a permanent change. Well, several reasons, but mainly: 1) We had too many boards, and 2) We had too many inactive boards. I've been talking about consolidation "coming soon" for a long time, and when I saw this post, I figured it was time to stop dragging my feet... support.proboards.com/post/7207738/thread

I think it's a reasonable move. I don't think there was enough activity on the Music Boards overall to justify six sub-boards.
Most of the other "culled" boards were equally or even more inactive. There were boards for the various decades of television for example, as well as a Classic Television board, when the Television General board barely got two new threads a day.
