Well, apparently the show isn't good. And as for Scott Buck, he landed The Inhumans as showrunner as well... Well that's certainly worrisome.

Judging from the first reviews it seems I was right in one regard: They should have gotten a martial artist to play Danny Rand, simply because he does most of his fight scenes without a mask which means they can't easily use a stunt double like they did with Daredevil. They figured it was more important getting an actor instead of a Martial Artist who might not be able to act well. This argument would have held weight if they got a proven actor for the role. But considering that we only know Finn Jones from Game of Thrones playing a role that he wasn't particularly good at, there's really no reason why they couldn't have gotten an actor with a martial arts background. There are actors out there that are martial artists as well you know. If Fox was able to find a female martial artist actor for Psylocke I assume it's easier to find a male martial arts actor for Iron Fist.

Well shit. Usually they've knocked it out of the park with the Netflix shows. Do you think this will effect their movies?

The Netflix shows aren't tied closely enough to the movies that the failure of one impacts the rest. It will hurt the overall image of MCU though, but considering how much goodwill the MCU has already built up I'm sure they can take the hit. I mean, it was 1 miss out of 4 (if just considering Netflix). I'm more worried about the Inhumans if they're getting the same writer.

Yeah, Marvel was going to produce a dud sooner or later. Just be glad it was one of the Netflix shows and not one of the movies. If Iron Fist is a bust, they'll take what they learned from the experience and do better the next time.

So I guess I'm a little confused about the show runner. Why do you not like him? I was looking through his stuff and it looks like most of it was good. So I'm a little confused how this was bad.

Well it's at 9% now due to one positive review. But it's not an amazing review.

Lol DC fanboy. Marvel is still doing good. Guardians 2 had a "perfect" rating from screen test.

Is there a purpose to any of this, Dennis?

Is there a purpose to any of this, Dennis? Just wanted to thank you for saving Iron Fist from its 0% score on RT. Your corporate overlords appreciate your service! You will be rewarded in the afterlife.

Well shit. Usually they've knocked it out of the park with the Netflix shows. Do you think this will effect their movies? The movies and the shows are connected but only by a thin thread. They are in 2 different departments ran by 2 different men. That's why you only get the occasional mentions about events in the movies and basically nothing from the movies about the shows. I think Agents of SHIELD is in a middle ground where they connect almost directly (one-sided) with the movies.
