One that instantly comes to my mind is wrestlers always selling the wrong leg in a figure four leg lock. To anyone that's ever been in the move you know which knee is getting the pressure put on it and it's not the knee that's bent outwards it's the one getting pressed up while the other is laying across it. It's a constant annoyance to me and it happens every damn time it seems. I don't know why they do it that way either. The only thing I can think of is they don't want kids trying it at home by pretending to sell the wrong leg? That's not going to make anyone stop from trying to do them though.
Another is, what happened to wrestlers in normal clothes or in suits? I miss the days of guys coming to the ring to cut a promo or interrupting a guy and they're in normal every day clothes or a suit. Now? It seems it's constantly everybody is just ready to go in their tights despite not yet being booked for the show or what not. I mean, if you're not already booked then why are you walking around backstage in your trunks and a t-shirt? The wrestler gets booked after interrupting the other wrestler but before hand the audience isn't supposed to think this match was set to happen. Kevin Owens being in a suit on Smackdown was such a small thing but it made me so happy. Some of the few wrestlers that I can think of that actually do wear normal clothes or suits are: Miz, Ziggler, HHH, Jericho (at least wears some jeans), and now Owens on this last SD whether that continues idk. It's just a simple thing. People can still wear their merch but wear it like a normal person with a pair of shorts (ala Steve Austin) or with a pair of jeans or something.

One thing to remember is that it's all about the theatricality of it. The bent knee is the one that looks to be in the an awkward angle, therefore, it's the one in more pain.
The one thing that annoys me know are the scripted promos. There just aren't any promos that really stand out. They're all too generic or just going in for a sound byte to use in a video package later on.
Essentially, I miss the spontaneity, or at least, the illusion of spontaneity.

Fans chanting "CM.Punk," "fuck you (insert name." Worse one is probably " you can't wrestle" when I doubt any of them could take a backdrop.

I don't know if this will count, but whenever there is a discussion of wrestling anywhere, there is that one person who says "You all know wrestling is fake, don't you?" As I usually tell them "So is about 70% of the stuff on TV"

Agreed, except when they were directed at John Cena, who really... couldn't wrestle, at least on par with the HBKs and the Angles he was being paired up with at the time. I really believe those vicious chants made him learn to work smarter and better.

Well, since I don't watch the current product I'll have to say the things that annoy me about indy wrestling.
1. The kids that weigh 140 lbs. that look like they get their lunch money taken from them at school every day and they call themselves wrestlers. I'm not dissing on all small guys. But if you look like the average high school kid and don't even stand out in your high school, you should probably stay out of wrestling. And nobody should train you either.
2. I touched on it in #1. Schools. They'll take anybody that has the money and can fit in a pair of tights. I've seen kids that look like they're 12 years old and it's insulting to the fans to see something like that. and half the time the guy running the school wasn't really trained properly himself. There's an ongoing joke that a guy could go to a school and be trained by somebody that wasn't trained properly for 3 months, quit and then open up his own school.
3. When promotions try to mimic what the WWE is doing. Yes we know that's where everybody wants to be and they set the trends because they're the big company, but why would anybody want to see people pretending to be the WWE when they can watch the WWE? It makes them look even more bush league.
4. When guys have their matches and then 20 minutes later they're sitting next to you in the crowd. WTF? You just don't do that. I know I don't have to explain why.
5. Even worse, when the guys are sitting in the crowd and they start chanting stuff or turn to the crowd and go "boo" as if to direct the fans that they're supposed to boo the heel and cheer the face. It's up to the guy in the ring to get the reaction. It is not the fans job to boo and cheer who they're supposed to. So shut the FK up and go back to the locker room where you belong. Or in a lot of cases "don't belong"
6. The fans. This was especially true in ROH's early days. I went to the shows I was surrounded by about 1500 people all of which were convinced that they were absolute wrestling geniuses and critiqued and criticized how things were booked. I'd listen to these people and clearly they didn't know shit. And I don't claim to be a wrestling genius by any stretch, but the point being is, I don't like being around that type of fan that is just there to trash everything. If it doesn't work for you, sure, criticize it. But this was beyond that.
Part 2 to come at a later time. I may even break this up into 5 parts.

Well, I know I can't stand when WWE allows big matches to either get away, or air when the timing is off.

Fans complaining about other fans complaining. there's some irony there.
