RB Leipzig rose from Germany's fourth tier to the Champions League in four years but could be banned by UEFA as Austrian sister club Red Bull Salzburg close in on qualification. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4418358/RB-Leipzig-Champions-League-qualification-rise-doubt.html RB Leipzig have secured Champions League qualification via the Bundesliga. However, RB Salzburg are likely to do likewise via the Austrian Bundesliga. The pair were founded and constructed through investment from Red Bull. UEFA regulations dictate that no two clubs run by the same body or financed significantly by the same investor may compete in Europe at the same time.

Red Bull hasn't been the owner of RB Salzburg since 2015. They're a mere sponsor of the club. If that constellation was a problem, VfL Wolfsburg (owned by Volkswagen/Audi) and FC Bayern (heavily sponsored by VW/Audi and with VW managers on the supervisory board) would have encountered problems last season, too.

And what is about Chelsea, CSKA Moscow and Abramovich? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Abramovich#Abramovich.2C_European_football_and_Ice_HockeyWhen is was ok for Chelsea, why shouldn't it be ok for Leipzig - more so since they since they cut their ties to Salzburg. That is what I hate so much about you damn Britons: you always expect a special treatment...just like this fukcing club from Liverpool with its Lex Liverpool.

Anyone remember when bluerisk threw a hissy fit every time GB won a gold medals at the Olympics in London?! That was funny. He seemed to take it as a personal affront.
