LOL, my mom used to make this a lot. Add just a touch of curry powder to the mix and it kicks butt.

Are you going to have it again? Actually I could see myself doing it if there was some beef in it. Almost like a chili sandwich no, once was enough, Jay it isn't bad, but it isn't great either. Beef/meat would improve it. Spices, too. It was bland. yeah I kinda figured it wouldn’t be for me personally

That sorta kills it It's an old US Army phrase for the stuff. Civvies just call it creamed chipped beef on toast. Admittedly, it's not the most attractive looking concoction, so not hard to see where the pungent nickname came from:

The military has a knack for making anything taste godawful. Mainly due to most of its' being dehydrated. I'm told some of the current MRE's actually aren't too bad, but I'm not going to rush out to the local army surplus store to sample some. Properly prepared, CCB on T really is some yummy comfort food, albeit the sodium content isn't going to do you any favors.
