I'm sure there will be youtube videos summarizing each series before a movie comes out, with clips. If you don't want to pay for Disney+ (Or Netflix, or Hulu, or Apple TV etc) just use mIRC.

Likewise. It's clever and a good business strategy for Disney +, but I'm literally not buying it.

That's good. The problem with the MCU Netflix shows was that they were really only connected to themselves.

I doubt it, watching the Disney+ shows will likely enhanced the understanding and payoff for the films when they come, but be necessary? nah, doing that would result in the movies not making sense for most, and decreasing their appreciation of the movies which will hurt the brand, that's not something they want or can allow to happen, but the films will need to be able to work on their own or else risk failing.

One more reason to be glad I could care less about any of this.

If a movie doesn't standalone, it's a bad movie.
So along with Shang Chi, that's two films I'll be skipping.

Dude, Disney Plus is going to be in most everyone's house by the end of the year and its launch date is this Tuesday, and its only five dollars a month, cheaper compared to Netflix, and its algorithm is going to be even more user friendly too. When the first MCU show debuts on Disney Plus only a fairly tiny minority will not have seen it and not know the heck is going on in the following movie. Also, each MCU show will have less than a ten episode season order so you can stream it all in a day.

I wouldn't subscribe to such crap. its only five dollars a month, cheaper compared to Netflix 1st, the cheap price is just to lure in all the suckers before they jack up the price. 2nd, whether it's $15 per month or $10 per mont or $5 per month, why would you pay for crap? Even $5 is too much to pay for a crappy streaming service that won't have anything of quality to offer.

All that content for a very affordable price is too good to pass up for most people, and there is no guarantee Disney is going to jack up the price in the foreseeable future as the service has not been proven to be a top dog in the streaming wars. 'Crappy' based on what exactly? The service doesn't launch till Tuesday but consumers are guaranteed a giant sized library of movies, shorts, tv shows, and documentaries old and new from Disney and all of its acquired accessories like PIXAR, FOX, Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic with original programming on the TV and feature film side of things like the remake of Lady and the Tramp, Noelle, and The Mandalorian.

All that content for a very affordable price is too good to pass up for most people Whether it's $15 per month or $10 per month or $5 per month, it's still crap. Why pay even $5 per month for crap? consumers are guaranteed a giant sized library of movies, shorts, tv shows, and documentaries old and new from Disney and all of its acquired accessories like PIXAR, FOX, Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic National Geographic? WoW! Sounds exciting. NOT!!!

Yeah, a lot of people like Nat Geo, people who actually want to see and learn about the Earth instead of trolling internet message boards.

WoW! Sounds exciting. NOT!!! Because hundreds of millions of people love the MCU films and these MCU shows will be made with the same actors and characters from the movies, tie into the movies and be overseen by Feige the man who helped engineer the creation and rise of the juggernaut that is the MCU, hundreds of millions also love Star Wars whether you love the classic trilogy, the prequel trilogy or the Disney brand of Star Wars hundreds of millions of people love Star Wars and will be getting new Star Wars properties on the service which many are psyched about, hundreds of millions if not billions also love Disney in general access to the near full library of Disney content from the biggest movies they ever made to some of the forgotten classics, not to mention thousands of hours of Disney original programming from live action to cartoons on top of that a lot of parents are psyched for Disney+ because it's a perfect service for those with little kids who will able to easily just put on something like playhouse Disney and have hours upon hours everyday of different content to keep their kids amused rather than the 1 tape or DVD playing on a loop which becomes more annoying than a screaming child.
Those are just some of the reasons, not to mention their acquired libraries as mentioned, it's not all just Disney products either, or now that the mouse own them are you going to say the X-Men movies are now crap as is the entirety of the Simpsons catalogue and such?
You may not be interested in the service but many are, which given you also hate the MCU, the worlds strongest film franchise and the 2nd most successful media franchise in the world only behind Pokémon when you figure revenue divided by years in operation, well your opinion doesn't really fit with the masses, so you being bewildered by why anyone would want the service is more an endorsement than an indictment of the services potential.

Also, the whole thing could be just a marketing stunt to convince more people to subscribe to/for Disney+. Chances are, Disney+ shows will give you a better idea on some of the events that took place in MCU, but they won't be strictly necessary.
