Three People Killed In Fresno Shooting Spree; Shooter Screamed "Allahu Akbar" I don't get excited for a mass shooting unless more than 10 people get shot. I don't have time for inferior mass shooters, even if they fit in with my agenda.

Ah, you get your "information" from zero hedge. That explains much.

Ah, you get your "information" from zero hedge. That explains much. Ahh, you don't care about what's true, only who says it. Find those WMDs in Iraq yet, or are conspiracy theorists NOT evil?

There is no such thing as a religion of peace.
Organized religions seek to divide people by separating them into the 'Saved' and the 'Unsaved'. Anything that, buy it's nature, seeks to divide people will invariably cause physical conflict.

You don't have to attribute it to me, I probably read it somewhere.

I thought the murders were racially motivated? Didn't he target white men and claim he wanted reparations or something?

Is the person behind this shooting suffering from some sort of mental issue?

Short answer, yes, he is suffering from some kind of mental issue. But there are four factors that go into criminal profiling: genetics, brain chemistry, psychology and environment. Every criminal is on a unique point in this spectrum. I imagine the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit will be involved in the investigation.
If I may ask, AJ, what country do you live in? I know you were born in Asia; are you still there?

Just a question because you are an American, Rachel. Is the person behind this shooting suffering from some sort of mental issue? Here is a quote from the Wikipedia article on the shooting:
Local authorities said they will investigate the shootings as a hate crime.[16] Chief Dyer said that the suspect, who is black, told police he decided to become infamous for killing many white people after realizing he was wanted in the Motel 6 shooting.[13][21][22] The suspect led investigators through the murder scenes and described exactly how he committed the shooting rampage, laughing all the while.[7]

Every criminal is on a unique point in this spectrum. I imagine the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit will be involved in the investigation.

I am currently in Australia, Rachel, and have been for about 2.75 years now. It's really unfortunate that people commit crime to become famous. Though I not much into psychology, I can understand that it was the mental issue that drove him into that shooting spree. Worst part is the communal feelings that this whole thing left behind. I asked you the question in my last post because I don't really watch news any more. I took this suggestion of not watching news from oldsamvimes.

I asked you the question in my last post because I don't really watch news any more. I took this suggestion of not watching news from oldsamvimes. Well, sam gave you some good advice! I rarely watch the news; in the USA, it is on 24/7/365 and can cause high anxiety if one doesn't limit one's exposure. My best friend wants to remain vigilant, trying to make certain that our current 'president' does not become perceived as 'normal' and she relies on the free press here, but her stress level is off the charts. I am selective about what I look at online, and limit the amount of time spent doing it.
Everything in moderation!
