Its been roughly a year since the Camp Fire claimed 84 lives in California. In the wake of this devistaing fire, more than one mystery haunts the comunity, including that of the identity of VIctem 53. His remains were found amongst the ashes of a disabled woman's home, whom also lost their life to the swift moving flames that decimated the town. At first thought to be the residents bones, it was discovered by ME's office that indeed the remains were that of 2 people. But who was this man? All neighbors have been accounted for, so speculation varies concidering the husband was also ruled out, as he was not home at the time the fire swept through his neighborhood. The theory many cling to is that the body is that of an unsung hero- a mystery man who tried to save the elderly disabled victim from certain death, only to be over come by the fire as well. No leads have panned out as there have been no missing person reports, abandoned vehicles, or any other clue aside from a few charred remains to lead investigators to an identy. What are the comunities thoughts? What are some arm chair avenues we could take to give these bones a name? www.sfchronicle.com/california-wildfires/article/Mystery-in-Paradise-Did-the-last-unidentified-14812373.php
