Really ? Any particular reason except you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about ? Only the fact that it's for pussies. We used to play no pads full on tackle football all the time. No silly scrums, no getting rid of the ball just as you're about to get hit. No seizure patient helmets. We got cuts, scrapes, and bruises, bloody noses. And we kept on playing. Rugby is nothing but soccer with tackling. And it's for pussies.

You do have Google on your computer, right? I found the information you asked for in about 10 seconds. Don't you ever want to make conversation? I guess not. This from a guy who makes a "I Hate Tom Brady" or a "I Hate The Patriots" thread every 15 minutes.

Any sport where a player wears his grandma's panties on their head is for pussies: ![](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/Jake_Ball_2013_%28cropped%29.jpg)

In Norway to but you never hear about it. Just because there are leagues does not mean its popular, Most people outside of the US don`t care about American football. Because frankly is boring as hell

You are really uptight, negative and narrow minded with your responses. We don't have to get along but I dunno why anyone would invade a thread as you are doing just for the sake of arguing. And if you look around you will see that the vast majority of the time I do not share my feelings towards the Pats.

Baksteball is one American sports that gets a good following in many other parts of the world. They like it in China. Clubs like CSKA Moscow in Russia, Fenerbahçe & Galatasaray in Turkey, Real Madrid in Spain and Red Star Belgrade etc etc have quite a good following. Countries like Serbia do produce good basketballers. Basketball is also famous in Australia and parts of Africa.
As for other sports - Ice Hokey is mainly limited to Scandinavia & Russia. Baseball in famous in Japan but not so much in Europe, South Asia or Africa. American football may have some fans in other parts of world but is not popular to a level at which you can say it is one of the big sports. I like basketball and NFL a lot. Already see cricket so don't feel the need to see basketball. I see hockey so don't need to see Ice Hockey.

So compared to rugby with all the bubble wrap protection, American football would be the more pussified of the two if we go with your comparisons. If you had to choose any sport to play at a pro level, and I mean any one, would you go with the one that has a risk of getting injuries on the field from getting hard hits all the time that result in a lifetime of never ending pain after retirement plus possibly turning your brain into oatmeal, or a sport that has less of a risk of getting hurt and pain after retiring? I don't care what you think of this. If I chose football, I would be a punter or kicker since those guys rarely get injuries and never get concussions. Better safe than sorry.

Yes, I have seen a few games between those two sides in Euroleague basketball and the atmosphere is electric. Even Maccabi Tel Aviv generates a lot of interest in Israel. And the Greek clubs you mentioned may have pretty competitive games with the Turkish clubs.
