What a great weekend of football - - and that's not even counting the fight or good college basketball games this weekend! I'm going to be a complete potato for the next 48+ hours!

I hope Utah wins convincingly and Oklahoma if they win be lackluster. It'll be great for Utah to be picked as a playoff finalist.

Oregon has jumped all over Utah, they totally dominated the first quarter, they scored on their first 2 drives and have been in control of the game, 10-0 Ducks.

Oregon goes up 17-0 on a long TD pass, they are dominating the Utes, controlling the game at the line of scrimmage and Herbert has been able to burn Utah on deep passes a couple of times.

No guys in the Dr Pepper football toss? What kind of anti male bullshit is this? Who chooses who participates in those things anyway? I assume you have to suck some elitist dick to get picked for it.

I wonder about that too. To qualify in the past participants had to compete in a pass, punt and kick competition but that is not mentioned anymore. Probably few if any girls made it through that so it got tossed. The winning girl tonight at least had something resembling a passing motion as opposed to that underhand granny free throw toss many participants use these days. Meanwhile the Utes are trying to make this a game. Only down by one score now.

Ducks get a long TD run to extend their lead to 30-15.

Big winner tonight, Baylor. If Baylor beats the Sooners and Georgia loses, they should be in.

Big winner tonight, Baylor. If Baylor beats the Sooners and Georgia loses, they should be in. I and the rest of Dawg Nation are the only ones who know Georgia will beat LSU. PAC 12 announcers were sneering at Georgia getting a 51% chance to be in the playoffs. LSU offense is doing historical things but so is Georgia's defense. ONE rushing touchdown against UGA defense this season. Yes fellow college football fans you read that right. ONE. If you're a betting man, take my Dawgs and the 7 points and bet your Christmas bonus. Dawgs will win straight up anyway. Y'all can thank me later. Utes on the other hand have crashed back to Earth. Ducks score again to make it 37-15.

Oregon gets the win 37-15, knocking Utah out of the playoff race. Ducks dominated all around tonight, they controlled the line of scrimmage and made a lot of big plays, they are a very talented team, if they hadn’t choked against Arizona St they would be right in the playoff picture. This sets up the winner of Oklahoma/Baylor to likely get the last playoff spot, provided that LSU beats Georgia.

Clemson is probably in now, win or lose. Even though people have belittled their schedule and their winning margin at times, who the hell else gets in if they lose? Two loss Oregon? It might be interesting if Virginia kills them but they're in by default now.

It might be interesting if Virginia kills them but they're in by default now. I think both LSU and Ohio St are in win or lose. The media have been sucking both teams balls pretty hard. A loss in the embarrassingly weak ACC MIGHT keep Clemson out but probably not. As you pointed out, there's not any other 1 loss teams that seem as viable. Upsets in every conference championship would be awesome in my opinion and get us closer to that expanded playoffs that seems like a necessity. A playoff of Georgia, Clemson, Ohio St and I guess LSU all with 1 loss would be cool with me and piss off so many people due to the lack of conference champions the NCAA would be forced to expand the number of teams in the playoffs.

LSU and Ohio State (boo) are in even if they lose by 100. Once again, who else? No two loss team is going. The one loss mid majors aren't going to the playoff. It's simple now, LSU, OSU (boo), Clemson and either Georgia or the Big XII winner. It's all about seeding now. LSU and OSU (boo) want the #1 seed, especially if Baylor gets in.

Oklahoma up 10-0 on Baylor, they are dominating, it’s noticeable how much better the Sooners defense is this year compared to the last few years, they are really improved on the defensive side of the ball and their offense is explosive as always.
