Avengers: Endgame had bad visual effects for a 356m budget film, not impressive at all when you have all resources in the world

Avengers: Endgame had bad visual effects for a 356m budget film, not impressive at all when you have all resources in the world They didn't seem bad at all to me, but at the same time I'm always a bit sceptical of films like this winning the award, mostly because their use of visual effects feels very functional and with little to really say it stands above any of the other major blockbusters released throughout the year. At the same time, however, I'm not seeing a Gravity or Dunkirk this year where I'm absolutely floored by the use or incorporation of VFX and so on, so maybe it's deserving on the basis of lack of competition. I might be forgetting some film however.
