Domestic or WW bombs. Pirates will bomb domestically, but will make up for it in the WW box office.
King Arthur and Valerian for sure because of the budget and general low interest.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (sorry Ritchie)
Valerian and the City of 1000 Planets (not sorry Besson)
The Mummy (seems 50/50)
The Dark Tower (not sure of the hype for it)
Other: I was thinking of that historical drama The Promise (cost $100M and invited political controversy).

The only one from this list that sticks out is Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. With a whopping budget of 220 million dollars, I see no way it makes enough money needed to make profit. It would have to pass 500 million.
King Arthur is another one, but I'm not so sure it will bomb. Domestically it will fall on its face, coming a week after Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was a huge mistake. But if it can make at least 50 million domestically, it has a chance to still make profit.
Wonder Woman has no chance of bombing, that is my 100 percent guarantee. With its small budget of 100 million, it is a lock to be a huge success, even if the film is not good.
As for the other major releases, I just don't see a lot of bombs coming. Of the major releases that I didn't mention, I think they can all be a success.

I picked other because none of us will know for sure which films coming this summer have bombed until box office results become available after each film's opening weekend.

Well okay so, the Promise is shaping up to be a major bomb with again a hundred million dollar budget but expected to open with like 5, 6 million dollars. Ouch. It doesn't look half bad either. Damn Erdogan.

By "bombs" I'll include what I think will bomb critically andat the box office. Like I think "The Mummy" will get meh reviews but will do well at the BO.
As for the bombs, King Arthur is...a nuclear bomb. Valerian probably won't do well either which is a shame, that movie cost tons.

Valerian will definitely flop, nothing about the concept screams a hit at all.

Surprised Pirates 12 or whatever it is hasn't garnered more votes. Looks like HOT garbage.

Valerian still a Luc Besson movie, it may bring some public, people are always here for comic book movies, we can't say the same about King Arthur, everyone is sick of it, there's no hype, it will flop, it's a shame for Eric Bana, but he should have known better than accepting to do this.
Pirates 5 may underperform a bit and do 750 million.
The Emoji movie is a sure bet too.

I tried to look up the budget, but the info is not yet released to the public. As much as these movies look bad to adults, families and kids will go out and see this nonsense film. There is relatively no competition for this and it is released on the tail end of summer. I personally think it will be a unquestionable hit, but I know nothing of the budget yet or the foreign market for this film. we will have to wait and see.

1, 3, 7, and 8 I predict will bomb. "The Dark Tower" could get positive reviews, but I think it will have very limited audience appeal and thus fall flat in the long run. "The Mummy" is a toss-up for me, because on one hand, Tom Cruise is involved, and he has a solid track record of good quality and very successful movies to his name. But on the other hand, it's sandwiched between "Wonder Woman" and "Cars 3" (both pretty much guaranteed hits, even if "Cars 3" isn't quite direct competition and takes a hit from "Cars 2" being poorly received), not to mention that "Transformers: The Last Knight" will hit theaters three weeks later. So even if it gets solid reviews, it could still easily get lost in the shuffle, especially if "Wonder Woman" ends up getting solid reviews and good legs.

Well King Arthur is most definitely our first summer bomb. Whatever Pirates and Transformers fail to make domestically will be made up for overseas. So the next true bomb will be Valerian
