What constitutes a franchise? Do we call Fargo a franchise because it spun off into TV? Is The Godfather not a franchise because no action figures? Where's the da ga rulebook? Also, hi. And, I nominate The Terminator on its and T2's strength, alone.

I was gonna say Hulk: but Bana, Norton, and the guy from 13 Going on 30.

Norton interviewed with Whedon, but apparently it didnt go well so the plan to continue with him fell through.

It's a great film; he and Laura Linney are amazing as brother and sister in, what I think of as, Kenneth Lonergan's best work. He was so cute, back then. Josh Lucas (in his small supporting role) was too.

It's weird that someone at a studio thought putting Ang Lee on that would work. I love The Ice Storm; it's my favorite Ang Lee movie, by far.

The shit I remember...

I remember the power being out and almost slipping, on my way to Wendy's to get some dinner. Coming back and eating square burgers by the candle and listening to a battery powered radio for the latest update. Happened a few days before Christmas about 5 years ago. Thankfully everything was right for Christmas.

Thankfully everything was right for Christmas. When I lived in North Carolina, everything was covered in ice for about a week after there was a blizzard because every day in the sun and over-30 temps stuff would be melting, and every night a new layer of ice would form. They never heard of rock salt, down there or, more specifically, they say it would be economically prohibitive to invest in salt trucks because of how "rare" such weather events are. So when they happen, shuts the world down for days.

No power, and we just wanted to get some dinner, since the power was out. It did look beautiful on the trees. Think of how crazy people get in London when there's a sliver of snow.

I don't know about London, but I lived in Dallas for a year and a half; it snowed once, like an inch, and the roads were empty. So cute. I had a Lhasa Apso who was really pissed about moving from NY to Dallas, and he was just in heaven, snow angeling on his belly, on his back, just rolling in this dusting of fluffy snow. He was so sweet.

Pretty sure an inch is 2 and a half cm. Lol, I don't know, I never went to Fort Worth but I imagine it has pretty much the same weather, so no.
