All I know is that I'm never going to get one. It's against my religion. Getting tagged like a wild animal so someone can track you is a little disturbing to say the least. It might be helpful if you have severe dementia though... Anyone have a cell phone? Guess what - it's the same as having an implant.

The cell phone can be left behind and the person who owns it can go anywhere without being tracked, which rather defeats the purpose of having it, and probably not a lot of people do this. According to the Medical Futurist, the implant has to be removed with surgery. It's a bit too invasive for my tastes, but to each his own.

Privacy is pretty much obsolete at this point.
