An "argument" doesn't have to have a negative connotation, like two people arguing with each other. In this case, a writer is arguing his case for why a certain movie belongs on a certain list. Opinion and argument are not mutually exclusive. "All literature is protest." Richard Wright I appreciate your post. I'm not stupid and I'm not uneducated, I simply react as well as anyone can be expected to when someone comes out of absolutely nowhere to really gruffly argue that something I just called "exactly right" is "the dumbest thing" he's ever seen. So yeah. Fuck that rude noise. Tarantino is absolute trash. Leo is a bloated corpse of what he was when he was a child actor, can't even pull off an accent, at this point. You know he's doing great when Brad Pitt is the one who steals the show. May I go back to friendly posting and Sports, now? Thanks. Tarantino isn’t trash.

I fail to see how it's rude when it doesn't line up with your opinion but everyone should accept it when it does. Sorry you can't handle 'gruffness' but I guess that doesn't apply to your brilliant analysis in this post?

Haven't seen any of those movies. But any worst movies of 2019 list should include Captain Marvel.

I haven't seen a ton of new films in 2019 but Captain Marvel was really bad and for me ranks on the lower third of MCU movies with the likes of Thor 2, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Age of Ultron. Hell, I didn't even like Endgame all that much either. Was a major let down after Infinity War which was bad ass. If I bothered to watch Dark Phoenix it'd likely be in this list too because it looked like garbage and had Sophie Turner as a focal point of it so I know the acting wasn't going to be good outside of Fassbender and McAvoy. Now that I think of if, The Lion King "remake" would rank up there as the worst because that was garbage. Beyoncé may be a talented singer but she's garbage as an actress, even as a voice actress and that's saying a lot.

The last half hour of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was worth it, making up for the rest of the relatively plotless movie.

I haven't seen a ton of new films in 2019 but Captain Marvel was really bad Agreed. Captain Marvel was really bad. And Captain Mrvel continues MCU's pattern of making law enforcement or military look incompetent (MCU boss Kevin Feige must really hate law enforcement and military). Wrestling has jobbers whose job is to make superstars look good. MCU movies repeatedly have law enforcement and military look incompetent in order to make the Avengers look good and more heroic. For example, Captain Marvel falls into a Blockbuster Video store at night and then Nick Fury and Coulson arrive in the morning. Who the fuck called SHIELD? The driver in the car would've called local police. And to local police, it would've just been a break-in at a Blockbuster Video store. The suspect appeared to be unarmed and wasn't carrying a bomb. It didn't appear to be a terrorist attack. So why the fuck would local police need to call SHIELD for that? Another example, in Captain America: The First Avenger, they said Steve Rogers was the 1st trainee in 17 years to get the flag down from the flagpole. So they're saying that every trainee in the past 17 years was too dumb and incompetent to simply think of lowering the flagpole? Another example, in The Avengers, the aliens are flying around in the skies of Manhattan and the Captain America, Hawkeye, and Black Widow (none of whom can fly) are just standing around doing nothing for half an hour. Where the fuck was the Air Force? New York has been the target of terrorist attacks on more than 1 occasion, but the Air Force is too incompetent to send fighter jets to New York? Also, a traffic cop is instructing people where to run to, but Captain America has to take over as traffic cop and tell people where to run to. Even though after the multiple terrorist attacks, NYPD officers are probably well-trained on how to evacuate people in an emergency. But the movie has to make law enforcement look incompetent so that Captain America can do the job of traffic cop and tell people where to run. And another example, in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter gives his best friend Ned an alien device and Ned takes the device into the Washington Monument and blows up the elevator. How the fuck does a kid take an explosive device into the Washington Monument and blow up the elevator and NOT get detained for questioning by the FBI or Homeland Security? And another example, in Avengers: Infinity War, a giant ring shows up in the sky over New York and can be seen from miles away. Where the fuck was the Air Force?

Glass was indeed sort of rubbish. Split is the best of that trilogy. Glass probably had comic book/superhero fans in tears at the end, but for me it just showed how pathetic comic book/superhero fans are, bunch of fecking annoying kids

For me - I was upset at the end - I think another poster pointed it out above (may have been Ray) - what exactly was wrong with the ending of the movie. I don't mind sad endings - but was left unsatisfied and oddly slightly depressed with this one.

I'm aware that there's a theory in comedy where you repeat you shtick enough where it becomes painfully unfunny, but when you then keep doing it that makes it funny again. How long until that happens with you?

I despise comic book movies; however enjoyed Unbreakable, Split and Glass. Ahhh! But.... Alien, Predator, Freddy and Jason were all movie icons before comic book icons Thor, Hulk, Fantastic 4, Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, etc etc were all comic books first and then made into movies, no? Stating that I despise comic book movies is rather ignorant/harsh of me - I've enjoyed a couple - maybe I should tone it down to state they're just not my cup of tea and to each their own.

Please confine your sports stupidity to the sports board, and your superhero stupidity to the superhero boards.
