Nalkarj - Re : What does Thomas do? My answer would be... nothing. Why would he need to do anything? Oh, not that ‘riddly’… “What is his job?”

OK, we’ve still got Thomas’s job and the man whose eyes are shut. Here’s another one:

Nalkarj - Re Mirror man Only solution I can come up with is that he is seeing himself for the first time in a number of years after being blinded. He's just recovered his sight (new technology?) which he never thought he would.

All right, we’ve still got a bunch of riddles up, mostly mine, but here’s probably a quick one…

Oof. Noticing there are a lot of riddles/puzzles here—not sure if I should put this one in, but I don’t want to forget it. Again, not mine, taken from a puzzle forum, and I thought it was excellent. In fact, it reminded me of jervistetch’s riddle on Page 1 here—though, perhaps needless to say, the solution is different.

Augustus Riddle. Is the attraction free and you can donate any amount you wish to the cause?

Nalkarj - Is Dave's the seller and doesn't need to pay an entrance fee? although in that circumstance I can't see why he would queue. Thought that $5 was perhaps the attraction, i.e. a rare edition of a 5$ bill? But I know I'm wrong.

Nalkarj Is Dave a senior citizen (or conversely a youngster) and exempt from the entrance fee?

Nalkarj Is Dave a senior citizen (or conversely a youngster) and exempt from the entrance fee? Nope... Dave is a friend of the three other men, and they’re all about the same age.

Nalkarj I'm stumped. Would it have something to with 3 names being Roman and Dave isn't, and/or the alphabetical progreesion of initials?

Nalkarj I'm stumped. Would it have something to with 3 names being Roman and Dave isn't, and/or the alphabetical progreesion of initials? Names, initials irrelevant. Money amounts highly relevant, though there’s absolutely no math(s) involved.

Nalkarj - Oh dear. Can you wait for a year or so while I try and work this out? But there’s no math! Here’s a hint: what was your first assumption that they were doing with the money? Because that assumption is incorrect.

NalkarjFirst assumption was that Dave was selling a valuable $5 bill. The opposite to selling is buying...which gets me precisely nowhere. Take a world trip or something while I work this out.

alfromniI probably should have clarified that the “attraction” refers to something like a play or amusement park ride, for which they’re all lined up (i.e., queued). In this case it’s a ride. No Morpho, Only Bánh mìCurses! That wasn’t what the original answer was, but I think it hits all the criteria just as well.
