Enjoy. Hadrian was most certainly a member of the Cult of Mithras. He can be seen in statuary wearing a Phrygian cap on his head, and there was a temple of Mithras close to Hadrian's Wall in northern England. What more do you need? Also, look up Sol Invictus. I don't tell anyone what to think. I invite you to look at the evidence yourself, listen to the various arguments, and decide what you think about it.

Mithra in Zoroastrianism is the protector of truth. He is a part of Zoroastrian trinity. Unlike Ahura who is worshipped as fire, Mithra is worshipped by offering of libations.

Ahura-Mazda, the sun god Mithras, and the most important archangel, Spenta Mainyu (holy spirit), formed a holy trinity. www.iranchamber.com/religions/articles/secrets_of_zoroastrianism.phpZoroastrianism is one of my favourite topics of study from the ancient world. It definitely influenced Jewish monotheism and it was formed by interaction of Indians and Iranians. I myself have not researched a lot on Zoroastrianism in the last few years. May be I will soon. Many more articles/books might be available on internet now.

Clearly much of the Old Testament is influenced by Babylonian Zoroastrianism and likewise influenced the early Christians. Persians ruled over Israel for such a long time that when I first read about that fact I was quite surprised. Of course, the ruling class is almost always in position to spread some of their agenda on the ruled ones.
