The Patriots get another easy schedule in 2017. There's the usual 7 bye weeks (which includes the 6 bye weeks against the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets) and only 5 games vs playoff teams. Moreover, 1 of the "road" games against a playoff team will be on a neutral field (vs the Raiders in Mexico City).

Boo fucking hoo
Do you blame the Patriots when you stub your toe, Gomer? Or when you reflect on your miserable life?
To think, all the better uses for the carbon in your body. A sheet of old fashioned carbon paper is more use to the world that you.
Go put on your Batman underoos and go to bed

Do you realize their opponents were known even before the schedule was released? In fact, their opponents were known the second the regular season ended.
It's devised in a systematic way.
Everyone plays teams in their division 2x each. Everyone plays an entire other division in their conference, determined by rotation. Everyone plays teams that finished in the same position in their respective division in the same conference. Everyone plays an entire division in the other conference, determined by rotation.
This way everyone has 4 games against 1st place teams 4 games against 2nd place teams 4 games against 3rd place teams 4 games against 4th place teams
What part of this do you have a problem with?
Oh, you forgot to answer me before, how do you feel about Joss Whedon directing Batgirl?

What? You think the Chiefs, Saints, Texans, Falcons, Buccaneers, Broncos, Raiders, Steelers is a weak non-division schedule?
Terrible trolling. Up your game.

O god...another time you cry about NE, this is beyond a joke now.
Miami went to the fn playoffs, what are you talking about. Same as your division, NYG and Dallas both went. Lets compare both divisions.
NE went 14-2 Miami - 10-6 Bills - 7-9 Jets - 5-11
36-28, meaning they won more > lost
Dallas 13-3 Giants - 11-5 Redskins 8-7-1 Eagles - 7-9
39-24-1 WOW....a 3 game difference, amazing! Also, you dont know what is easy. A team could go from the basement to the one seed. A team could go from the top seed to being on the bottom of their division. Look at previous super bowl losers, a lot of times they dont even MAKE the playoffs the next year.
Who cares about Dallas, Giants have gotten better, Dallas has gotten worse. Marshall AND Beckham.....you guys lost to them twice. GL man....better hope Dak doesnt get hurt, you got no backup QB now.

"What part of this do you have a problem with?"
Clearly the Patriots should play 16 road games against playoff teams. Then have to play on the road in the playoffs regardless of records. The superbowl needs to be played on the NFC representative's home field, and should they win, the trophy should be forfeited because they must have cheated.
It is only fairness he is looking for.

It seems like he's the kind of guy who likes to point out problems (imaginary in this case) but has no idea how to improve things.

Colts have a pretty cushy schedule. No devastatingly difficult stretches for the most part, especially in the first half of the season.

Why won't dcfan say what part of the schedule making system he does not like? Or what improvement he might make?
and why won't he say how he feels about Joss Whedon directing Batgirl?

Never been a believer in the easiest/hardest schedule. Every season is different. If a team is good enough they'll overcome the "difficult" part. If not, they won't.

DC-Fan do you understand how the schedules are made now? And if so, what, if any, problem do you have with it? What about Joss Whedon directing Batgirl? Good or bad?

Dallas had the easiest schedule in the NFL last season. I did not see any complaining then.

Dallas did have a cupcake schedule last year. NE had a much harder schedule.
Dallas gets a first round bye, loses to GB, who loses to Atlanta.
My team is Houston, least I can say,"we lost to the champs." Dallas cant even say they lost to the conference champs.

Hey now. Don't hate on the champs. Dallas has won two playoff games in 20 years. You dream of your team being as successful.
