Scenario 1
Armed robbers hold up a bank. The cops arrive before the robbers can get out of the bank. There's a standoff between the cops outside the bank and the armed robbers inside the bank, holding 17 hostages. The Avengers show up and storm the bank and capture the armed robbers. All 17 hostages are saved. No one dies.
Scenario 2
Armed robbers hold up a bank. The cops arrive before the bank robbers can get out of the bank. There's a standoff between the cops outside the bank and the armed robbers inside the bank, holding 19 hostages. The Avengers show up and storm the bank and capture the armed robbers. 18 hostages are saved. 1 hostage was killed.
There's a MCU fan (whom I shall not name) who keeps saying that 18 out of 19 is better than 17 out of 17. So I want to see if the rest of the MCU fans here agree. Is 17 out of 17 (100% success rate) better OR is 18 out of 19 (95% success rate) better?

What does this have to do with anything? Knowing him, he'd probably bring up a DC movie saying that a character saved everyone (probably Justice League and the Wonder Woman hostage situation) and an MCU movie where one was killed.

This is simply a question of whether 17 out of 17 (a 100% success rate) is better OR 18 out of 19 (a 95% success rate) is better. If you don't like the questions referring to The Avengers, then you can replace them with the Justice League or the X-Men or the Fantastic Four or the Justice Society or the Legion of Super-Heroes or any other team. The team doesn't matter, which is why the poll questions don't refer to any specific team. The poll is simply asking whether 17 out of 17 (a 100% success rate) is better OR 18 out of 19 (a 95% success rate) is better.

Do you think the 1st D.A. was more impressive because he convicted more guilty defendants than the 2nd D.A. (18 guilty defendants convicted for the 1st D.A. vs 17 guilty defendants convicted for the 2nd D.A.)? Or was the 2nd D.A. But we don't even have to limit it to hostages.
